Beat’s so Lonely – Charlie Sexton (1985)
Considered a prodigy on the guitar, this American singer-songwriter was only 16 years old when this, his debut album and single, was recorded. In 1992, Sexton formed the band Arc Angels with fellow Austin blues-rock stalwarts, but they only lasted a few years. Sexton then began focusing on production and session work, contributing to his talents to Lucinda Williams, Shawn Colvin, Edie Brickell, and others. In 1999, he joined Bob Dylan’s band, and in 2005 he released his latest record.
