This American trio helped bring disco to the mainstream. But they didn’t last quite as long as disco’s heyday: they parted ways in 1978. They reunited occasionally during the 90’s for special events, thanks to disco’s resurgence at that time. Soprano Hubert Ann Kelley left the music industry and became a minister. Tenor Fleming Williams died in 1998. And baritone St. Clair Lee re-formed the trio in more recent years, but with two other performers. That incarnation continued to perform until Lee died in March 2011.
