Stay (I Missed You) – Lisa Loeb & Nine Stories (1994)
This American singer-songwriter debuted with this US chart-topper, earning her the distinction of being the only unsigned artist to score a #1 hit. She did eventually land a record contract, and she delivered well-received – both critically and commercially – album later in the 90’s. Loeb continues to perform and record music, but she’s also diversified into acting, writing, and fashion eyewear. Now with two young children of her own, Loeb recorded children’s music for her most recent studio album, and she just published her first book – for children.
