Warrior – Mark Foster, A-Trak & Kimbra (2012)
This infectious romp of a tune was commissioned by Converse (the shoe company behind Chuck Taylors) for an ad campaign. And for once, corporate sponsorship has produced some some quality results. ;-) Enjoy!

Mark Foster is an American singer, songwriter, and musician who founded the pop-rock-electronica trio Foster the People in 2009. Their biggest hit thus far is Pumped Up Kicks (2011).

Born Alain Macklovitch, A-Trak is a Canadian DJ, remixer, and record label owner who, in 1997, won the World DJ Championship at age 15. As a remixer, he’s collaborated with some of the biggest names in music. As a DJ, he collaborates with Armand van Helden on the side project Duck Sauce. They scored a sizable hit with Barbra Streisand in 2010.

Born Kimbra Johnson, Kimbra is a singer-songwriter who released her debut single in her native New Zealand in 2010. Her debut album, released in 2011, reached the Top 5 in both NZ and Australia. In the US, she’s best known as guest vocalist on Gotye’s hit, Somebody That I Used to Know (2011). Her debut album will be released in the US/UK next month.
