Whatever Happened To… Stereo MCs?

Connected – Stereo MCs (1992)
This English group were the first British hip-hop act to reach the R&B charts in the US. Their freshness and trans-genre stylings allowed them to work with artists as varied as U2 & Queen Latifah. Following the commercial and critical success of this album, it took them ten years to produce its follow-up. In the interim, they remixed for the likes of Madonna. While they may not have maintained their American fan base, they continue to tour internationally. Their most recent studio album was released last year.
