Whatever Happened To… Loverboy?

Turn me Loose – Loverboy (1981)
This Canadian band roared to life during the 80’s, but disbanded in 1988. Lead guitarist Paul Dean released a solo album the following year while other members worked on collaborative efforts. They reunited in 1991, but without keyboardist Doug Johnson, and toured extensively. They finally released their come-back album in 1997, and Johnson re-joined the band in 2000. That same year, bassist Scott Smith was lost at sea in a boating accident. Loverboy have continued to tour extensively over the years and have occasionally released new material. Their latest studio effort, which features re-tooled versions of many of their classics, came out this past summer.
