Busy Earnin’ – Jungle (2014)
This British group, formed around founders ‘J’ and ‘T’, exploded onto the music scene last year. Thanks to creative singles (like this one) and appearances at SXSW, they’re building impressive buzz on both sides of the Atlantic. No word yet on a debut album; but in the meantime, a European tour has just started. And an American tour follows in June. Enjoy!
Jubel – Klingande (2014)
This French duo, consisting of childhood friends Cédric Steinmyller & Edgar Catry, formed in late 2012 and have made quick work of the European music scene. This single, released last week in the US, has already topped the charts in seven European countries to-date. They spent the last year touring Europe; here’s hoping they make their way to the US soon. While new singles have been announced, no firm news yet on a debut album. Enjoy!
Ready for your Love – Gorgon City featuring MNEK (2014)
Gorgon City are a British duo consisting of producers Kye “Foamo” Gibbon and Matt “RackNRuin” Robson-Scott, who released their first work in 2012. Their debut single came out last year. This track continues to build on that momentum, with a full debut album due out sometime this year. Enjoy!
Born Uzoechi Osisioma Emenike, MNEK is a British singer, songwriter, and producer who, in his short career, has already worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Rudimental, and Sub Focus. We’re anxiously awaiting the arrival of his debut album.

Games – Claire (2013)
This German band – composed of Matthias Hauck, Nepomuk Heller, Florian Kiermaier & Josie-Claire Bürkle – formed in 2012 when Bürkle joined the others to work on their film project. This track, from their debut EP, was released in Germany last summer. Their debut full album followed in September (in Germany) …about the same time their EP was released in the US. No word yet if/when their album will be released in the US; but in the meantime, this track is starting to climb the US dance chart. Enjoy!
Changes – FAUL & Wad Ad vs. Pnau (2013)
FAUL is the stage name of mononymous French DJ Maxime. Wad Ad, his performance partner, is the stage name of fellow French DJ Camil Meyer. You got all that?!? Good. Now throw in the 2007 hit of Australian duo Pnau, which FAUL & Wad Ad heavily sampled to produce this fresh, bouncy hit that’s now capturing Europe by storm. Time will tell if it catches on in the US. In the meantime, enjoy!

Born Dominique Clark, Dominique Young Unique is an up & coming American rapper & model who first arrived on the music scene just last year. While she’s found most of her success to-date as a featured artist, her solo debut single comes out this April.
If We Make It – Poolside (2013)
This international duo, composed of Dane Filip Nikolic & American Jeffrey Paradise, first met in 2004 but didn’t get around to putting out their first single until 2011. Buoyed by its positive reception, their debut album followed the next year. This single is from their forthcoming sophomore effort. Enjoy!
Light This Fire – Collin McLoughlin (2013)
This American singer-songwriter has built a following on YouTube, along with being chosen for “Team Adam” on television’s The Voice. McLoughlin’s currently unsigned (meaning, has not signed a contract with a label), and this track comes from an upcoming EP he’s producing and releasing on his own. McLoughlin’s well-crafted use of dubstep in otherwise melodic pop music is another indication of how the next generation of musicians knows no boundaries between genres. I expect we’ll continue to hear great things from this talented young artist.
Silent Morning – Parralox featuring Ryan Adamés (2013)
This Australian band, led by producer John von Ahlen & vocalist Amii Jackson, were formed in 2008 and made their debut US performance this past spring. For this track, up & coming Puerto Rican singer Ryan Adamés joined them to create a flourish of 80’s-inspired freestyle. Enjoy!
Soak up the Sun (Victor Calderone & Mac Quayle Sunsweep Radio Mix) – Sheryl Crow (2002)
This American singer, songwriter, musician & producer wrote commercial jingles and taught music before landing some back-up vocalist gigs with popular artists. Since Crow broke out with her solo debut in 1993, she’s consistently landed near the top of worldwide charts. Her work has diversified to include blues and – more recently – country music. And this summer anthem is her only hit to-date to top the dance charts. Enjoy!
